"How long has it been since your last cleaning?" This is one of the questions I ask when making an appointment for a new patient (or a patient we have not seen in a while). It is not to shame that person or make them feel bad. It is to help me judge when and where I should add that person to the schedule. We've posted before how time is valuable. We want to make sure that you, the hygienist and the doctor all have enough time to get through treatment without you feeling rushed, us running behind, or the quality of treatment being affected. We fully understand the embarrassment that some people have coming when it's been more than 6, 8, or 12 months. But when you come here there is no need for embarrassment. We always say that what counts is that you are here now! We will do our best to get you back to good dental shape and encourage you to keep up with your home care and your visits. Pick up the phone or open up your email and contact us. We will get you back to where you need to be! Phone: 913-491-0077 Email: [email protected]
