We try hard to get our Newsletters out for each season. However, you will notice that we are combining Fall and Winter because Winter is just around the corner and we have not gotten the Fall Newsletter out! It's been busy around here and it is only getting busier (see below for the reason)! END-OF-YEAR WRAP UP 2018 is coming to a close and we are reminding patients that this year's dental benefits are ending. We want you to maximize your benefits! Also, it is a good time to use up any cafeteria plan funds. Many plans have a Use-It-Or-Lost-It policy. If you have treatment to complete, or if you want to stock up on whitening or Prevident toothpaste, please contact us. Don't let your dental benefits go to waste! 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! It was 10 years ago that Dr. Macauley called Dr. Jones into his office and let her know that he was ready to retire. Dr. Jones thought, "Great! I'll have a year or so to prepare for this big adventure." However, Dr. Macauley then told her that he would like to retire by the end of the year! The first few months of 2009 were a blur, but we are so thankful to all of our patients that have been with us since the beginning and those that are newly joining our little dental family. Happy 10 Year Anniversary, Dr. Jones! RENOVATION AHEAD When Dr. Jones bought the practice, she redecorated the office to make it her own. The new wall paper, furniture in the Waiting Room, and new flooring really helped. She also brought the practice into modern times with digital radiography and computers in all the rooms. Until then, the office had one computer up front with dial-up internet! It is time for another renovation and this time we are updating our equipment. This is a much needed improvement! New chairs, cabinets, front desk area and a sterilization room. We are so excited to get started! Construction should start in the next few weeks. Be sure to follow our progress via our website and social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). We are going to do our best to not affect our patient experience the next couple months. That being said, there may be some appointments that may need to be rescheduled. If that is the case, we will offer alternative dates to those patients (most likely a Friday). We appreciate your support and understanding and are excited for you to see the "new" office! THE SEASON OF GIVING Are you looking for fun and unique gifts this season? We've got you covered! Although, it was a short trip, she had so much fun! She wandered the streets shopping and site-seeing while her husband was in meetings and conferences. When he finished, they had afternoon tea, did more shopping, and went to the England - New Zealand rugby match (Go All Blacks!). Dr. Jones loves sharing her travel experiences and to get recommendations from all of our globe-trotting patients! *Fun Fact! Dr. Jones' (and Ashleigh's) dad was born in England and came to North America in 1957. This was Dr. Jones' first trip to England and she can't wait to go back...for longer than 3 days!
