Recall/Periodic Exam This is an exam done by Dr. Jones on an established patient of record. It evaluates and records the patient's current dental and medical status. This exam usually occurs at the end of a cleaning appointment.
Limited Exam This is a problem focused exam for a specific oral health complaint. It is the type of exam used for dental emergencies, trauma, acute infections and pain.
