Insurance Benefits
Alison Jones, D.D.S., P.A. is a participating provider ONLY for Delta Dental - Premier & PPO Plans. We will continue to prepare and submit dental insurance claims to all insurance carriers, and/or assist in making insurance collections, for all of our patients with insurance benefits as a convenience to our patients. If you have dental coverage under another carrier, we are happy to file a Pretreatment Estimate so you can learn what your dental benefits will cover for out-of-network providers. If you have a DMO Plan, you will not be covered at our office. You will need to contact your dental benefits company to get a list of DMO providers. Please call our office with additional questions.
Your dental benefits are based upon a contract made between your employer and an insurance company. Insurance is a legal contract between you and your insurance company. Our office is not, and cannot be, a part of that legal contract. Ultimately, you are responsible for all charges incurred in our office not covered in your benefit plan. You are also responsible for knowing what your plan covers. We are happy to assist you in finding out that information when asked.
We strive to make maximum use of your dental benefits while doing quality dentistry without the restrictions that insurance companies can impose on treatment.
We feel strongly that the best choice for your long term health are made by the dentist, hygienist and patient as a team...with "insurance" being a factor...but not the deciding factor in your care. You and your long term health are worth a lot more than your "$1000 annual maximum!"
