Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are you accepting new patients?
A: Yes! We are currently accepting patients of all ages (6 months to 100+). The website is full of information about the practice and the services offered. If you are unable to find the answer, please do not hesitate to call us at 913-491-0077, or email us at [email protected].
Q: I haven't been to the dentist in a really long time. What can I expect on my first visit?
A: A lot of welcoming faces! At our office, we have a policy that we will never scold or make you feel bad for not going to a dentist in a long time. There is no need to be embarrassed or ashamed. We look at it as a great opportunity for a fresh start, no matter how long it's been. On your first visit, you can expect a lot of dialogue to discuss your concerns with your teeth, gums, smile and any concerns or apprehensions you might have. We will discuss your dental history, but only to find out information that will help us and guide us for future care and treatment. There is no better time to get back on track than right now. Call, email or contact us through our website and Facebook page and we will schedule you an appointment to get started towards a healthy, confident smile.
Q: Do you accept dental insurance?
A: Dr. Jones is an In-Network Provider for Delta Dental Premier and PPO only. However, we will file dental claims to all different insurance companies as a courtesy and convenience to our patients and to expedite the process and get your payment faster. Visit our Insurance Benefits Page for more information.
Q: Why didn't insurance cover my treatment (or pay only a portion)?
A: To get the most complete answer, we suggest contacting your insurance carrier directly. When you receive the "EOB" or "explanation of benefits," call the number they provide you and follow up to make sure you are getting your maximum allowable benefits. If your insurance carrier needs additional information from us (like x-rays or a narrative), we will be happy to send that to them right away. If you still have questions, please call us and we will do our best to answer your questions.
