We are a couple weeks into the Roe Bridge over I-435 closing.  We appreciate all the patients being on time and accounting for traffic and annoying detours!

If you can get to College by Nall, Mission, Stateline, or another road, you will be able to get to us.  Also, it seems as if you are heading from I-435 East, you are able to exit onto Roe and turn right.  

If the outside construction isn't bad enough, we are also listening to a lot of noise next door!  Some of the offices on the first floor are renovating and expanding.  If you have an appointment in the next couple weeks, feel free to bring your music player and head phones!

Construction is a necessary evil, just like dental restorations...see how I transitioned topics there?  Sometimes we do not see the problem, but the professionals assess the situation and come up with a plan, execute, and go onto maintaining a stable, healthy, safe environment...for driving or chewing and smiling!

The Roe Bridge was built in 1970.  I traveled over it almost every day and I didn't see a problem.  However, KDOT said that it was time to build a new bridge and get a new system, before bigger problems started.  Sometimes, Dr. Jones has the same diagnosis and treatment...patching problems has to stop to allow for a new system to work for you.  The 30 year old bridge that you have sometimes has to be replaced.  The tooth that seems to be all filling material or has some cracks in it may need to be crowned.  Just like KDOT, we don't want to wait for the bridge to fail before we do something about it.

Luckily for you, our dental construction zone is less messy, quicker, and a little more fun than road construction.  We also work rain or shine!
